Privacy
A plain-language summary of what this site keeps. We don’t sell your data.
- Your account
- Your email address (to send sign-in codes), your name, username and avatar settings, and your password, which is stored scrambled (hashed) and can’t be read by us.
- What you post
- Chat messages, feedback and bug reports, poll votes, and your XP and badges. Members can see chat and feedback posts, along with the username that posted them.
- Game progress
- Your Pixel Arena gold, upgrades and best wave are saved to your account so you can carry on later.
- Cookies
- When you sign in, essential cookies keep you signed in. We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies.
- Visit statistics
- Only if you press Accept on the cookie notice: a random ID kept in your browser and the pages you open, so we can count visitors. No cookies and no IP addresses are stored for this. If you decline, or your browser sends Do Not Track, nothing is counted.
- Login safety
- To stop password guessing, a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address and username is kept for a short time with a count of failed attempts.
- Saved in your browser
- Your theme, sound and music choices, game best scores, your cookie choice, and the visitor ID above (only if you accepted).
- Donations
- Payments are handled by Stripe, so we never see or store your card details. We keep the amount, date, Stripe payment ID and, if you were logged in, your account. If you connect Discord we keep your Discord ID and username to give your supporter role. If something goes wrong with a payment, contact us.
- Your rights
- We keep your account details until you delete your account. You can do that yourself on your profile page, and it removes your profile, chat messages, feedback and votes. Payment records are kept for accounting. You can also contact us to ask for a copy of your data or to correct it.
- Other services
- Supabase stores our data. YouTube only loads if you press play on a video. Links to Discord and downloads go to those sites, which have their own policies.
