Using this site: By using the site or creating an account you agree to these terms. If you don’t agree, please don’t use it. You must be old enough to agree to them where you live, or have a parent or guardian’s permission.
Your account: Keep your password safe and don’t share your account. Give us a real email address so we can send your sign-in codes. You’re responsible for what happens on your account. Usernames that copy the studio, staff or other people aren’t allowed, and we can change or remove them.
What you post: You’re responsible for what you post in chat, feedback, bug reports and your profile. Don’t post anything illegal, hateful, threatening or spammy, don’t harass anyone, and don’t share other people’s private information. You keep ownership of what you write, and you give us permission to show it on the site. We can remove posts and accounts that break these rules.
Our content: The games, software, pictures, code snippets and assets on this site belong to Shadow Byte Studios or the people who made them. You may use downloads for the purpose they are offered for, and any extra conditions shown with an item apply. Please don’t copy or resell our work without asking.
Donations: Donations are voluntary gifts that help the studio keep making things. They are not a purchase and they are not refundable unless the law says otherwise. Payments are taken by Stripe. If you were charged by mistake, contact us and we will look into it. Supporter badges and Discord roles are a thank-you, and we may change them over time.
Things can change: We try to keep the site running but can’t promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. Games and downloads are provided as they are. We may change or remove features, and we may update these terms. The date you last used the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
Our responsibility: We are not responsible for losses that come from using the site, from things other members post, or from links to other sites, unless the law says we must be. Nothing here limits any rights you have by law.
Closing your account: You can stop using the site at any time and delete your account yourself on your profile page. We can mute, ban or close accounts that break these terms.
